Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Recently, I met Jim who had just resigned from working for a man who I have respected for many years. To my dismay Jim shared openly that he had left due to my friend’s arrogance and lack of integrity.
There was a time when I would hear these sort of comments and distance myself from those who had been denigrated. Over the years, however, I’ve come to better understand that, like me, all people are flawed. Everyone will disappoint you if you wait long enough.
Fortunately, Jesus taught the importance of grace in Matthew 7:2, “For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.”
When you hear criticisms of others, pause and remember your own flaws before racing to judgment.
