As company President, Stephanie thought to herself, “Business would be much easier without employees!” This thought followed trivial employee comments about the kind of toilet paper, or the smoking area location. “Don’t you know I have bigger concerns than these?” Stephanie ranted.
In Stephanie’s heart she considered employees to be a necessary evil. She needed them to get a job done but was not willing to listen to their concerns. She did not pray for them.
Philippians 1:3 says, “My prayers for you are full of praise to God as I give him thanks for you with great joy!”
In hindsight, employees were necessary blessings, not a necessary evil. Stephanie now would encourage you to pray for your employees. Recognize them as a gift. Celebrate them with joy and thanksgiving.
