Christian cognitive neuroscientist, Dr. Caroline Leaf, in her book “Switch on Your Brain,” says, “How we think not only affects our own spirit, soul and body but also people around us.”

The thoughts we dwell on impact every area of our lives. They are indicators of our future success.  Our thoughts frame our success even in relationships. If we dwell on failures, they are likely to continue. If we think negative thoughts, our words and impact will be negative.

Proverbs 23:7 tells us, “For as he thinks in his heart, so he is.”

This verse reminds us of the connection between our thoughts, our hearts and our actions.  Thoughts set the course for the action that follows.

What thoughts are you dwelling on that negatively impact work and life success?
