Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

Michael Porter and Nitin Nohria did in-depth research on how twenty-seven CEOs of large companies spent their time. By tracking each CEOs time for 13 weeks they uncovered many great leadership lessons they discussed in Harvard Business Review.

One highlight applicable to all leaders is the need for an overarching personal agenda or plan. The authors stated, “A clear and effective agenda optimizes the CEO’s limited time; without one, demands from the loudest constituencies will take over, and the most important work won’t get done.”

A good agenda will establish top priorities for the CEO and will help to avoid distractions.

Isaiah 32:8 says, “But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand.”

Developing a planned agenda for allotting your time could be a fruitful exercise.
