Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
My wife, Kathy, doesn’t like suffering alone. She appreciates finding someone who has, or is, suffering through a similar problem to compare notes and share life.
On occasion, I’ve seen Kathy meet someone with a similar dilemma as Kathy may be facing. Without thinking Kathy has been known to blurt out, “I’m so glad to hear that.”
Then she will quickly explain that she’s sorry for their situation, but she’s glad she’s not alone.
Hebrews 12:1 says, “Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance …”
If you’re struggling through a situation at work, remember you’re not alone. Many others have gone before you. Run with perseverance.
