Zero sum thinking permeates many competitive situations. If your competitor convinces one of your customers to switch to their service, you might assume that you lost and they won.
But what if losing that customer allowed you to expand a more profitable relationship with a larger customer or God protected you from an unprofitable project?
The factor overlooked in zero sum thinking is God.
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
God desires us to have an abundant mindset not zero sum thinking.
