For those businesses holding on to the notion that employees should check their faith at the door, they might look at a new Marist poll. When the survey participants were asked where they go to seek moral guidance, 63% said they turn to religious teachings.

Most business leaders would admit that they would like an ethical workplace. If most people turn to religious teachings to make their ethical decisions, then asking people to leave their faith at home seems foolish.

In Psalm 119:2, the psalmist wrote about God, “Blessed are those who keep His statutes and seek Him with all their heart—they do no wrong but follow His ways.”

If you desire an ethical workplace, encourage your team to bring their whole selves to work, including their faith.
