Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
My son lives in a residential home with five young men who all have some form of special needs. The young men get along great most of the time, but occasionally, the parents are a different story.
For a while there was a parent who constantly complained and gossiped about the staff or other parents. It made for an unhealthy environment and started to divide what had been good relationships.
Eventually this mother made threats of removing her son if she didn’t get her way. Fortunately, management wisely helped her pack his bags. The strife ceased.
Proverbs 16:28 teaches, “A perverse person spreads strife, and a slanderer separates close friends.”
If there is strife in your workplace, try to identify the source of that strife and deal with it promptly.
