Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

You might be surprised to learn that the U.S. ranks only 17th out of 38 countries on the number of hours worked per employee. According to US News and World Report, the average U.S. worker works 34.4 hours per week.

Mexico is significantly higher at 42.8 hours per week, while Germany surprisingly has the least number of hours worked.

Our lives are more compartmentalized today than in biblical times. We work at home and at the workplace. Previously, work was done as a family.

Exodus 20:9 teaches, “Six days you shall labor and do all your work,”

Determining the number of hours to earmark for the workplace is an art more than a science. Consider first your priorities. Allocate time first for God, then your family, followed by your work.
