In interviews, learning how your job applicant handled past adversity can prevent bad hires.

In Job 2:3, God told Satan, “There is no one on earth like (Job); he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

When screening candidates for character, try using open-ended questions, credit checks, references, and targeted questions to learn how they handled past adversity.
