Recently, Tom shared with me that the Catholic church did something to offend him. So, he began a quest of researching other Christian churches.
Tom became overwhelmed when he discovered over 45,000 denominations. He then decided to shift his focus to researching the Bible.
That’s when Tom discovered that Catholics include different books in the Bible than Protestants. When Tom also discovered many different Bible translations, he finally gave up and concluded that the Bible was “garbage.”
John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Although man has complicated what God intended to be much simpler, the Word of God is the very foundation of the world. God’s Word is worthy of the confusing pursuit of truth.
