While studying Matthew 9 recently, I pondered Jesus’ concern for the souls of the vast crowds that were following Him. He told His disciples to pray for workers because the harvest was plentiful, but the workers were few.
Then my Bible had a new chapter, making it appear that the story was finished. I wanted to know what Jesus did about answering that prayer.
Then I read Matthew 10:1, which reveals His answer, “Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.”
Jesus scaled and grew His ministry by leveraging the disciples already following Him. He gave them authority and delegated His power to them multiplying Jesus’ harvest. How well are you leveraging your existing team?
