As we’ve discussed in this series, intuition can be the way our mind subconsciously processes patterns from our past experiences. The risk in relying solely on your intuition can be when your intuition is being fed by your flesh, not the Holy Spirit.

If what feeds your mind is greed, then every get-rich-quick scheme may feel in alignment with your intuition. But this flawed intuition would be counter to the Spirit of God.

Romans 8 teaches, “Those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”

The mind led by the Holy Spirit, coupled with God’s gift of intuition, can bring peace and discernment.
