The Air Force Thunderbird pilots are the ultimate high-performance leaders. In September, Kathy and I attended an Air Show where the Thunderbirds performed.
Their Diamond Formation was amazing with four jets flying 18 inches apart in a diamond shape, while traveling between 400-500 miles per hour.
A simple sneeze, momentary distraction, or engine flaw could have resulted in deadly consequences. To perform at this level of excellence requires incredible discipline, training, and skill beyond their peers.
Proverbs 22:9 says, “Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.”
The Thunderbird pilots have served both Presidents and Kings. The discipline and training required to become the best in your profession, honors God and is worth the time invested.
