Sam was frustrated with his job and struggling with his role. He and his boss agreed that he would transition to a new role that seemed to be a better fit. Although Sam was grateful for the opportunity, it was still a major change. He processed it by posting his thoughts on an anonymous on-line blog.

Unfortunately, his boss heard about the post and confronted him about it. Although the post was not negative, Sam’s boss was unhappy that their discussion was aired in such a public way.

Lamentations 3:26 instructs: “it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

In our modern tendency to process our experiences publicly, we need to consider how our words – even when we think they are private – impact our testimony and the people around us.
