Our digitally, interconnected world makes it tempting to watch the successes of others. By focusing outside our business, it’s easy to get caught in the game of “keeping up with the Jones’.”

Attempting to keep up with the competition is a sure way to a company’s demise.   We can continually chase new ideas or implement unsustainable practices, without having the foundation to support them.

Hebrews 12 teaches, “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

God commands us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, not our competition.  Focus on what your business does best, and on your clients’ needs and how you can meet them.

Keep your business model simple with clear and focused eyes.
