Ray Jarrett is the Executive Director of Unite KC, a business owner, and an author.

In his role as Executive Director, Ray is responsible for spreading the vision of racial healing, justice, and reconciliation through education, conversation, and creating opportunities for the city to participate in Unite KC’s domain-based structure and do “One Good Thing.”

Ray is responsible for creating a leadership culture and facilitating, collaborating, and strengthening internal communications with staff throughout the organization and within Kansas City. In this position, Ray promotes a positive, multicultural work environment that supports consistency and develops policies, procedures, budgets, and controls.

Ray’s company, Impact Leadership Resources, focuses on freeing each business owner and leader’s time which allows them to focus on developing the vision of their respective companies. The company’s values are donating information, building relationships, altruistic networking, hands-on mentorship, and generosity. Impact Leadership Resource’s business model aligns with its goals of uniting the business community and helping its clients increase the resources that flow into the city and community.

Ray is also a writer and has authored nine books. His latest book, Believe Again, Rise Above, is a collection of inspirational stories from real-life people who decided to make a difference in their lives. They were all able to achieve transformational success after encountering hardship and tragedy.
