I can recall many times when I was disappointed to see a colleague advance when I felt my career was stalled. Yet, with hindsight, I saw how I was still growing in experiences and knowledge to prepare myself for the next step.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
When we trust that God works even when we’re not aware, we can focus on the work we before us and spend less time checking the side mirrors.
