Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

I was struggling with a decision about taking on a new work assignment. The project seemed interesting, but the team seemed to be in disarray, there was no clear executive sponsor, and it was unclear if the company was committed to the project’s success.
I explained my struggle to a Christian friend, and he said simply, “God is not a God of confusion.”
He was taking that from Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians: “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.” (I Corinthians 14:33)
When you are experiencing a situation of heightened confusion or disorientation, ask yourself if God is present. You may need to pray for God’s intervention or choose to walk away.
