Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

As the Kansas City Chiefs headed to Super Bowl LIX recently, the Press questioned Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker, again about his controversial statements made at a Catholic University in 2024.
According to the Associated Press, Butker said, “I don’t feel the need to apologize for anything.” He added, “I feel like God’s prepared me for that moment to feel confident in who I am and what’s most important in my life and, I’m able to handle whatever comes my way.”
In 1 Peter 4:16, Peter said, “Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.”
Like Butker, as Christians, there are times when we will create controversy. Do not be ashamed to align yourself with Jesus Christ.
