At 25 years of age I launched a car rental business. Interest rates then skyrocketed to 21% and unemployment to 13%. After that experience I vowed to never start another business!
So, in 1995 when God led me to launch a consulting practice, my fears were overwhelming. My fears were not uncommon.
According to a Wall Street Journal interview, Philipp Berger, surveyed 600 entrepreneurs about their fears. He discovered that overcoming these fears came first from awareness and acknowledgement of the fears.
Speaking about wisdom Psalm 1:33 says, “But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
Rather than letting fear prevent your future business venture, use wisdom to become aware of your fears and then acknowledge them. Then God can help you overcome them.
